We had another planning meeting and are getting all of the door prizes in order. We're going to have a GREAT Hamfest this year. We'll have tons of space for tailgaters, a lot of space for indoor vendors, and the Optimist's Club will be providing a great breakfast and lunch menu. We think you'll like it. We've also invited a kettle corn vendor, something we haven't done in the past. Should be good times.

We're also making available online our vendor reservation list. You'll find it by clicking here. Be sure to make your space reservations early and remember that spaces are free and for indoor vendors there MAY be a number of tables available, but we don't want to make promises. Be aware that you should be prepared to bring your own table(s). If there aren't any tables available, you'll know when your reservation is confirmed.

The Hamfest starts at 8 AM and you must be there no later than 15 minutes before the opening otherwise you'll forfeit your space(s). If for some reason, you can't make it by that time, call our reservation coordinator (his number is on the reservation page) and let him know that you're running late. If you don't show up by 9 AM, we will have to give your table to another vendor.

Because of a timing issue, the Randolph County 4H Fairgrounds won't be available for us on July 27, 2024. The 2024 Hamfest will be held in Portland Indiana at the Jay County Fairgrounds. Please see our flyer below. We'd appreciate it if you coulld print some out and distribute to others.

IT'S FREE?

It will be free as long as possible. We have had several donors who have covered the rental costs at the Jay County Fairgrounds. A HUGE thanks go out to our donors who made this possible and not take away from some awesome door prizes we'll be giving away this year. We use the money from donations and from extra ticket sales to make each year's ECI Hamfest even better!

We're not tax accountants, but we understand that since the ECI Hamfest is a registered 501(C)( 3) not-for-profit charitable organization that any donations are fully tax deductible.

Places to Stay:

We've included three local motels on our flyer to stay during our event that are very convenient to the Fairgrounds. Because of limited numbers of rooms, it's best to reserve early. We've also provided discount codes that may help a bit. If you'd like to see other nearby motels that are in easy driving range (and compare prices), Randolph Inn & Suites in Winchester is about 20 miles south and several other motels are located in Berne (about 16 miles north on US 27) and Decatur (about 28 miles north on US 27). Decatur generally offers slightly better pricing, but it's best to check first for best pricing and availability. No matter, if you're planning on staying for one or two nights, to repeat, make your reservations early.
